Dr. Helen Ing | Dentist

Dr. Helen Ing is the head of SGH Dental office. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular genetics and biology at the University of Toronto and did her dental training at the University of Toronto and the University of Western Ontario. Upon graduation she was awarded the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry Orthodontics prize. She was an associate dentist at several practices in Canada, the United States, and at Toronto Public Health. Dr. Ing has also published in the Journal of the American Dental Association. Dr. Ing has over 25 years of experience in all facets of dentistry.

Dr. Ing and Dr. Chao are sisters who grew up in Toronto, and attended the University of Toronto together.

Dr. Ing's societies include the Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association, Toronto East Dental Society and the Chinese Canadian Dental Society.

Dr. Irene Chao | Dentist

Dr. Chao has been a general family dentist for more than 25 years. She grew up in Toronto and was a dental associate in Mississauga, Keelesdale and Kapuskasing after obtaining her dental degree from the University of Toronto. Dr. Chao was on call at the Scarborough Hospital for many years with experience in a multitude of dental treatments and emergencies. Dr. Chao has been a dentist with SGH Dental office since 1993.

Dr. Chao’s focus is on providing best dental care to both adults and children in comfortable and friendly surroundings. Dr. Chao’s experience and her love of learning are of benefit to her patients.

Dr. Chao is in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, Ontario Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association.
